Meet Chris

Christopher Provino is a seasoned professional in the sports and entertainment industries, distinguished by a proven track record in sales, marketing, event operations, and strategic business development. Christopher's career is marked by leadership roles that have leveraged his expertise to significantly impact brand visibility, event management, and revenue growth across various high-profile organizations.
Most recently, from 2022 to 2024, Christopher served as the Vice President of Business & Event Operations for the Vegas Vipers of the XFL. In this pivotal role, he led the strategic planning and execution of business operations and event logistics, contributing to the league's vibrant presence and operational excellence in the competitive sports landscape of Las Vegas. This position underscored Christopher's adeptness in managing complex operations and his commitment to enhancing the fan experience through innovative event production and operational strategies.
Following his impactful tenure with the Vegas Vipers, Christopher joined VaynerSports in September 2020 as the Senior Director of Sales & Marketing. At VaynerSports, he has been instrumental in driving the agency's sales and marketing strategies, further solidifying its reputation as a leading force in athlete representation and sports marketing.
Before joining VaynerSports, Christopher enriched his expertise as the Head of Event Marketing at Matchroom Boxing from 2019 to 2020, where he played a key role in orchestrating major boxing events that captivated audiences and elevated the Matchroom brand on a global scale. Christopher's foundational experiences in the sports industry were significantly shaped during his tenure at the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC). He embarked on his journey with the UFC as the Manager of Athlete Marketing & Development from August 2014 to July 2017, before ascending to the role of Senior Director in the same department, a position he held from July 2017 to February 2019. His contributions during this period were instrumental in developing athlete brands and enhancing event promotions, demonstrating his capability in aligning athlete development with organizational growth objectives.
Earlier in his career, Christopher further demonstrated his business acumen as the Manager of International Business Development at the UFC from February 2012 to August 2014. This role was preceded by valuable experiences at World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc. (WWE), where he commenced as an International Digital Affiliate Relations Assistant in June 2008 and later assumed the role of Coordinator of International TV & Affiliate Marketing in April 2011. Christopher Provino is a Manhattanville College alumnus, holding a Master of Science in Sports Business Management (2011), and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Hartwick College (2008).
His skill set encompasses Budget Development, Strategic Planning & Implementation, Negotiation, Business Development, High-Profile Events, Talent Relations, Event Management, Public Relations, Revenue Growth, Marketing, Staff Leadership & Development, Digital Media, Athlete & Talent Public Relations, Sponsorship, Brand Development, and Contract Development, making him a versatile leader in the sports and entertainment fields.
